Bio:
Destroyer… Canada’s Premier Tribute To KISS. With 857 shows as of the end of 2008, Destroyer has been rockin’ KISS fans across Canada (and beyond) for 15 years.
Creator and founder, Moe Rotondi says that he always wanted Destroyer to be the best KISS tribute band out there, with bigger shows, better costumes, real guitars, and of course, the blood and fire that go hand in hand with every KISS show.
Achievements:
Destroyer has done it all – from the local bar scene to performing at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) and the Calgary Stampede (several times). The band has been invited to play at events across Canada, and have even been hired to play at a birthday party for four-year olds in Michigan. A garage door opened to reveal the band before gaping youngsters!
“We are family entertainment” Rotondi says. “Kids love us.”
The real KISS members know about Destroyer – photographs of the band have appeared in the 1989 and 1999 KISS tour books.
Another event that Rotondi is proud that Destroyer was part of, was a fundraiser for six-year old Sebastien Mousseau-Pedley at which the band raised $8,000 towards a kidney transplant.

I’ve seen and hired countless tribute acts, major recording bands, and local rock shows and the most current version of “Destroyer” is one of the best shows you will see in a local club or festival stage anywhere. This band is worth a $20 to $25 ticket but luckily you can see still them in most venues for $5 to $10. Great people to work with too.

We had Destroyer play a few years ago and they put on the best show you have ever seen, they had the act down pat! There’s nothing like seeing the Demon, Starchild, Spaceman and Catman in the flesh even if it isn’t them. They had the Stacks, Pyro and the Showmanship. You wanted the best you got the best.
